Travel Health Since January 1, 1993, it has been mandatory for any insurance broker selling Travel Health Insurance to be licensed by RIBO to do so. Individuals are required to obtain a minimum mark of 75% to successful complete the separate travel examination. The examination consists of 20 multiple choice questions and costs $45.00. A travel health study manual may be purchased from the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario by calling (416) 488-7422 or 1-800-268-8845. It is suggested that all those planning to write the examination carefully review the Standards for Travel Insurance.
