RIBO issues licences authorizing persons and firms to conduct business as insurance brokers. An insurance licence is issued by RIBO for a one-year term, from October 1 to September 30 of each year.
This register allows you to determine if the individual or firm you are dealing with has the right to pursue activities with respect to advising or selling the insurance product(s) that is being offered to you. The registry contains general information about an individual’s current licensing status, it does not include licensing history and information about conditions or restrictions on the license.
