Our online registry provides a quick and easy way to verify whether the person you’re dealing with holds a valid insurance license.

RIBO issues licenses to individuals and firms, authorizing them to operate as insurance brokers in Ontario. These licenses are valid for a one-year term, from October 1 to September 30, and must be renewed annually.

The broker search includes essential information about an individual’s or firm’s current licensing status on whether they are authorized to advise on or sell the insurance products being offered to you. The registry does not provide full licensing history or details about any conditions or restrictions associated with the license.
