A Certificate of Authority is an official document that verifies an individual’s licensing history with RIBO. It is sometimes referred to as a letter of history. A RIBO Certificate of Authority identifies the individual by name and specifies licensing history, the level of licence, current status and any applicable restrictions. This document does not include information related to complaints, discipline matters or spot check information.
To request a Certificate of Authority, complete and submit the below form.

Once we receive your completed request, we typically process it within 5 business days.
We only send the Certificate of Authority to the email we have on record for the broker.
Please note: The Certificate of Authority will be issued to the individual listed on the license unless the individual has provided you with a Signed Authorization to Release this information to another person
