For individuals working towards their CIP, FCIP, CAIB, CPIB, CCIB, CRM, RPLU, CAIP and ACSB recognized industry designations, the maximum accredited hours allowed for each course are as outlined below.
Individuals enrolled in a correspondence course will only receive Continuing Education credits if the course provider receives mid-semester assignments and/or a final examination is written.
CAIB 1 – 5 hours Management and 16 hours Technical
CAIB 2 – 16 hours Technical
CAIB 3 – 16 hours Technical
CAIB 4 – 20 hours Management
CCIB – 16 hours Technical
CPIB – 20 hours Management and 16 hours Technical
FCIP – 16 hours Technical and 20 hours Management CIP – 16 hours Technical each C16 and C132 – 20 hours Management
CRM – 16 hours Technical
RPLU – 16 hours Technical
CAIP – 16 hours Technical, except “AAI-83: Agency Operations & Sales Management” – 20 hours Management
ACSB – 16 hours for Technical and 20 hours Management
